We've been quiet on the blog for a bit here, as we've been working hard with our class on an adaptation of An Enemy of the People, the classic Henrik Ibsen play that asks difficult questions about environmental vs. economic health. Our adaptation is called, of course, An Enemy of the School, and we're in the final stages of writing it. Tomorrow, we'll read the whole play aloud in class for the first time, and then make final revisions before handing it over to jm rossi, our wonderful director. jm will take the script, and team up with the same professional actors who worked with him in the Afternoon of Scientific Scenes, along with three of our students, and prepare a reading of the work. Next week, we're all headed to Vital Theatre Company to see it!
